The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Procedures have been developed to meet or exceed federal, state, and local regulations and requirements. Any modifications to the procedures are reviewed and developed in a manner that considers new or changing regulatory policy. EHS SERIES 000 – PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION
This series comprises FOX’s EHS Management Program documents.
EHS 001 – Environmental, Health and Safety Program Policy (updated June 2023) FOX requires that all work operations be conducted safely and under established EHS procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
EHS 002 – Disciplinary Actions FOX employees who violate established EHS requirements will be disciplined.
EHS 003 – EH&S Audits, Inspections and Corrective Action The FOX EHS Program requires that the EHS Department conduct and requires periodic audits of workplaces.
EHS 004 – Regulatory Agency Inspections FOX will comply as required with any regulatory agency inspection at any location under its control.
EHS 005 – Stop Work Authority FOX has established a Stop Work policy, to be used in response to observed hazardous conditions of health and safety procedural violations which could cause harm to personnel or damage to Fox property.
EHS 006 – Return to Work FOX is committed to it’s employees safety, including their return to work following a work-related accident or injury.
EHS SERIES 100 – INJURY / ILLNESS PREVENTION AND REPORTING
This series comprises FOX’s EHS accident prevention and reporting requirements.
EHS 101 –Injury and Illness Prevention FOX requires that all work operations be conducted safely, and under established environmental, health and safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
EHS 102 –Incident Reporting and Investigation FOX requires that any on-the-job injury, illness or accidents be promptly reported. All injuries, accidents, or near misses will be investigated to enable identification of causal factors and prevention of future occurrences.
EHS 103 – Smoking, Housekeeping, Hygiene, and Sanitation FOX requires housekeeping on its work locations be maintained to prevent injury or illness, and that all personnel observe acceptable smoking, housekeeping, hygiene and sanitation in the workplace..
EHS 104 – Job Safety Analysis FOX will ensure the safety of its personnel in performing new, non-routine or special work activities through performing job safety analyses prior to performance of work.
EHS 105 – Ergonomics (Office Activities) The FOX EHS Department will implement ergonomic control measures upon notification of a repetitive motion injury or ergonomic concern.
EHS 106 – Substance Abuse FOX requires its work activities to be conducted in a manner that prohibits the use of illegal drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
EHS 107 – COVID-19 Prevention FOX will take effective measures to minimize COVID-19-related risks and exposures in the workplace and provide for workplace inspections and testing of exposed employees.
EHS SERIES 200 – TRAINING AND MEDICAL MONITORING
This series comprises FOX’s EHS exposure assessment and medical monitoring requirements.
EHS 201 – Employee Exposure and Air Monitoring FOX requires that employee exposures to hazardous chemicals are evaluated and characterized.
EHS 202 – Hazard Communication Program All employees of FOX who may come in contact with or be potentially exposed to chemical materials will be informed of the associated hazards through labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and information and training.
EHS 203 – Hearing Conservation Program FOX requires that all workers exposed to hazardous noise levels take part in the Hearing Conservation Program.
EHS 204 – Medical Surveillance Program FOX will provide required medical examinations for employees who experience job-related physical or chemical stresses.
EHS SERIES 300 – PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
This series consists of FOX’s requirements for use of personal protective equipment.
EHS 301 – Personal Protective Equipment
All personal protective equipment and clothing used by FOX personnel and activities will meet the requirements specified in this procedure.
EHS 302 – Respiratory Protection
FOX is committed to minimizing the use of respiratory protection in favor of other exposure controls whenever possible. The use of respiratory protection will be specified by the EHS Department only as interim control measures or where the use of other controls is infeasible. Where respiratory protection is specified, worker qualifications, training, and procedures, shall conform to the requirements in this procedure.
EHS SERIES 400 – ACTIVITY-SPECIFIC EHS PROCEDURES
This series consists of FOX’s operational activity-specific requirements.
FOX personnel must observe fall protection measures when working at any elevated location (including scaffolds, aerial lift/condor/scissor lift, sound stage “perm” spaces, camera ledges, or roof areas) where they are exposed to a fall hazard of six feet or greater.
EHS 402 – Demolition and Striking
This procedure addresses the safe performance of building de-construction (demolition) and set/prop de-construction (striking) activities.
Except during normal equipment operations, all potential sources of energy must be isolated prior to work on any equipment capable of transmitting that energy.
This procedure establishes the minimum standards for confined space entries. All confined spaces will be treated as permit-required confined spaces unless they are re-classified based on an evaluation of the hazards they present. Entry into permit-required confined spaces by FOX employees is prohibited.
All use of scaffolds by FOX must conform, at a minimum, to the following standards unless a specific exemption is provided by the EHS Department.
EHS 406 – Excavation and Trenching Safety
Excavation activities performed by FOX personnel will be limited to depths of less than four feet below grade. Operations requiring excavation at depths greater than four feet must be coordinated with the EHS Department, and will only be performed by an acceptable contractor.
FOX requires the use of machine guards to protect its employees in their use of powered equipment and tools to perform their work.
EHS 408 – Stairways and Ladders
FOX requires that all uses of ladders and stairways conform to the requirements in this procedure.
EHS 409 – Portable Electrical Equipment
FOX requires the safe use of electrical equipment in all its work activities, in accordance with the requirements in this procedure.
EHS 410 – Walking and Working Surfaces
FOX requires that this procedure be observed for protection of floor and wall openings and where changes in work surface elevation occur.
EHS 411 – Aerial Lifts, Condors, and Scissor Lifts
FOX makes extensive use of aerial lifts in the performance of its operations and only trained personnel may operate an aerial lift. All uses of aerial lifts in FOX activities must conform to the operational requirements in this procedure.

EHS 413 – Woodworking Machines
FOX requires the safe use of woodworking machines in accordance with the requirements in this procedure.
EHS 414 – Metalworking Machines
FOX requires the safe use of metalworking machines in accordance with the requirements in this procedure.
FOX requires the safe use of manual hand tools in accordance with the requirements in this procedure.
FOX requires the safe use of powered hand tools in accordance with the requirements in this procedure.
EHS 417 – Motor Vehicle Safety (updated April 2024)
FOX makes extensive use of motor vehicles in the performance of its operations. Only authorized and qualified personnel may operate vehicles for company use.
EHS 418 – Welding, Cutting and Hot Work
FOX has implemented a Hot Work Permit system for its operations. All welding, torch cutting or similar operations must meet the requirements of this procedure.
EHS 419 – Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) / Drones
FOX utilizes Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), also known as drones, during television and sports production operations. All uses of drones must comply with applicable Federal, State, Local, Regional and/or Territorial regulations and conform to the operational requirements in this procedure.
EHS 420 – Safety Requirements for Contractors
This policy sets the terms and conditions that apply to the management of the production/event-specific Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program in accordance with the regulations applicable in the location where work is being performed.
EHS SERIES 500 – HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS AND SUBSTANCES
This series consists of FOX’s requirements associated with environmental and hazardous substance exposures.
EHS 501 – Cleanup of Excrement and Fungal Growth
FOX requires the implementation of specific steps as specified on this procedure when performing the removal of bird excrement or mold in any work area.
EHS 502 – Non-ionizing Radiation
FOX requires the implementation of this procedure when working with non-ionizing radiation sources.
EHS 503 – Working with Asbestos and Asbestos-Containing Materials
FOX requires the implementation of this procedure when its personnel encounter any suspected asbestos or asbestos-containing material.
EHS 504 – Working with Lead and Lead-Based Materials
Implementation of this procedure is required when personnel encounter suspected lead or lead-containing material.
Where water intrusions occur within FOX workplaces, effective control measures to identify and eliminate sources will take place.
EHS 506 – Paint Booth Operations
FOX requires that all use of paint booths conform to the requirements in this Procedure.
In the event of a Flu pandemic or localized epidemic, Fox Corporation will take appropriate measures to ensure employee protection.
EHS 508 – Atmospheric Smoke, Fog and Haze
FOX will take appropriate measures to ensure employee protection any time the use of atmospherics are planned.
EHS 509 – Heat Illness Prevention
FOX will take appropriate measures when employees are working in hot temperatures.
EHS SERIES 600 – FIRE, LIFE SAFETY & EMERGENCY PLANNING
This series consists of FOX’s requirements associated with Emergencies and Disaster Planning programs.
EHS 601 – Emergency Action Plans
FOX requires the development and implementation of Emergency Action Plans that address emergency response procedures prior to an emergency event that is likely to occur at specific operating locations.
EHS 602 – Fire Prevention Plans
FOX requires that all locations take appropriate measures to ensure fire prevention measures are identified and taken.
EHS 603 – First-Aid
All locations that do not have onsite medical support and treatment must have adequate First-Aid supplies for employee access and use. This Procedure outlines minimum training, content, inspection, and maintenance requirements for First-Aid at FOX locations.
EHS 604 – Portable Electric Heaters
FOX requires implementation of appropriate Environmental, Health and Safety procedures to protect personnel and property against the dangers of fire when using portable electric heaters.
FOX requires the planning and preparation and implementation of action plans and preparation for inclement weather and other unplanned events affecting FOX’s business operations.
EHS 606 – Alarm Response Procedures – FOX Studio Lot
FOX requires implementation of appropriate Alarm Response and notification procedures to protect employees and property against the dangers of fire that may occur in FOX buildings located on the FOX Studio Lot. This series consists of FOX’s requirements associated with Emergencies and Disaster Planning programs.
EHS 607 – FOX Studio Lot Emergency Evacuations
FOX will provide its employees, freelance daily personnel and visitors with a clear plan for evacuation of the facility in the event of an emergency, and ensure that all employees, visitors and other personnel will be evacuated safely.
Fox Corporation has established a Wildfire Smoke Protection policy, to be used in response to observed hazardous conditions of wildfire smoke air quality and the health and safety of our employees.
EHS SERIES 700 –ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE
This series consists of FOX’s requirements associated with environmental and hazardous materials compliance.
EHS 701 – Hazardous Waste Management
FOX requires the implementation of this procedure when its personnel generate, handle, and/or dispose of hazardous waste.
EHS 702 – Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures
FOX requires the implementation of this procedure when a location uses or stores quantities of fuels for generators or other equipment in excess of established limits.
EHS 703 – Underground Storage Tank (UST) Use and Operation
FOX requires the implementation of this procedure when a location installs, maintains, or removes USTs.
EHS 704 – Hazardous Materials Handling and Shipping
FOX requires the implementation of specific steps, as specified in this procedure, when its personnel ship hazardous materials (HazMat).

EHS SERIES 800 – SPORTS PRODUCTION SAFETY
This series consists of FOX’s requirements associated with FOX’s sports production safety.
EHS 801 – Production Activity Notification
FOX requires that all productions notify the EHS Department prior to the performance of production-related activities.
EHS 802 – Production Safety Bulletins
When applicable and possible, production activities will use the safety-related information presented in the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers, Production Safety Bulletins.
EHS 803 – Lightning Protection Systems
Lightning Protection Systems must be installed on temporary structures if it is desired to be used as a Safe Refuge Area during inclement weather.
EHS SERIES 900 – TELEVISION, MARKETING & CREATIVE SERVICES
EHS 901 – Solid Ceiling Sets and Platform Heat Detection
This Policy applies to all Fox Corporation (FOX) scripted television productions that will require heat detector installation due to the construction of sets with solid ceilings and/or platforms.
EHS 902 – Sustainable Lumber Use
Responsibly-sourced lumber is critical to building a sustainable film, television and commercial production industry. This Policy applies to FOX television production activities where lumber and plywood are used to build sets and flats.
EHS 903 – High Risk Regions (Draft)
This Policy applies to all Fox Corporation (FOX) productions that will require employees or contractors to travel to high risk regions.
EHS 904 – Food Donation Policy
When feasible, Fox Corporation (FOX) scripted television productions will donate all prepared, unserved food that meet applicable food safety regulations.
